That's the whole casting pool. Every voice on this page plays right here, without an account, and every one is a voice the Voice Director can actually assign to a character in your book. They all read the same line, so you're comparing voices and not sentences.
Who's in your book?

Every voice here can narrate except the four in the children's pool. The 46 rated for reading a book front to back come first.
34 voices can play a woman in her early twenties.
38 voices can carry a woman at the centre of the book.
20 voices can play a woman past sixty.
Four voices, and they're offered for child characters only. A person picked these by ear.
18 voices can play a man in his early twenties.
44 voices can carry a man at the centre of the book.
35 voices can play a man past sixty. This is where the gravel is: all seven textured voices are on this list.
The line under each name is how that voice reads on its own. Most of them reach further than that, which is why these lists run longer than the labels.
It's quieter here than I expected. Have you been waiting long? I brought what you asked for — though I still don't understand why you needed it tonight. Every voice reads that line. Same words, same length, so what changes is the voice.
Filtering and playback need JavaScript. All 86 voices are named below.
Nothing on this list matches that.
The teal edge marks the 46 voices rated for reading a book front to back.

The rail counts who a voice can play. This counts how a voice reads on its own.

Where it's thin: eight voices read as mature or elder, and only one of those is a woman. Eighty of the 86 are American English, with four British RP readers and two transatlantic. All seven textured voices are men. We'd rather you know that now than after you upload.
These 86 are what's left. We listened to and scored 99 voice profiles, quarantined 11 that failed, and retired 23 more out of the pool. If you can hear it here, we can cast it.
Upload a chapter and the Voice Director reads your characters, then casts voices from this same pool. Your first chapter is free.
